Google MapUp goes to Urdaneta City

Urdaneta City is one of the mot economically vibrant cities in the province of Pangasinan.

This afternoon we are now going to map up this city and participants were from all departments of the city government.

29 participants have prepared their netbooks so that they could help in putting their communities in Google Map.

The event is spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Pangasinan headed by Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr.

The Public Order and Safety Office headed the said map up session.

BOUNCING BACK FROM BREAST CANCER

It all started with a tiny lump just above her right breast in 2005. The size of a ‘ munggo ’ bean. It wasn’t even painful. It was in fact negligible. So she ignored it. Priscilla De Vera Ordas, or Precy is busy with her career as OIC of Avon City Enterprises in San Fernando City, La Union for ten years since 1983. Then she transferred to North Ilocandia Lending Inc. (NILI) also in San Fernando City from 1996 to 2009 doubling as OIC and Secretary. After a year of having that mysterious lump in her chest, it has grown a bit bigger, she noticed that it was like the size of a tamarind seed . That lump seems to move around her breast, sometimes its near the center, sometimes she could feel it farther up her breast. From left to right breast So she went to her Gynecologist in La Union. Provincial Government Holds Seminar Series for 'Excellence'

In its effort to instill "culture of excellence" among the provincial employees, the provincial government thru the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO) has started conducting series of Orientation and Values Development Seminar among its workforce. Janet Asis, HRMDO Officer-in-Charge, said that this program is a follow-up strategy of the provincial government to attain the needed reform for a stronger and united Team Pangasinan to improve and enhance public service. She said that after the "culture of change" that Governor Espino instituted in his first term in 2007, comes an intensified strategy to accomplish the vision and mission of the provincial government which is to make Pangasinan the best place to invest, work, live and raise a family and to transform it as the "number one province" in the country.
