Who's going to SM Baguio to shop with me?

I heard this exciting news from a friend, and since a Baguio beat isn’t always on a schedule of a busy woman like I am, indulging in with a treat for a bargain, bonus of a cold weather, is something I won’t pass.

My shudder for shopping is undeniable. And like what all women say, shopping is a woman’s thing. You can’t blame me.  



I unwittingly consider shopping as a strategy to bring myself into sharper focus. When I speak at an event, I am fuelled by the belief that a perfect top, a belt, and a pair of shoes reflects who you are, especially in the professional sphere.

But beyond that, I also enjoy the pleasure of the purchase itself, especially when sales are around the corner. Buying something on sale is a very special feeling.  In fact, the less I pay for something, the more its worth is realized (not that I don’t value my other assets).

I’ve been waiting for this sale for what seems like forever, because I’ve been dying to get my hands on some new shoes and school supplies for the children. The shoes I want aren’t exactly cheap, so the 10% discount on top of that 50% markdown will help loads.

   We get a shopping privilege of +5% rebate for a minimum single-receipt worth P5,000 if we use our BDO Credit Card. It’s time to flash those golden cards.

ROPE FRAME CAGE TO TAKE THE PLACE OF FISHPEN

Mayor Benjamin S. Lim of Dagupan City is inclined to adopt the rope frame cage technology to take the place of fishpens after discussing with Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region 1 Director Nestor D. Domenden recently aabout environment-friendly fish structures suited for the rivers here. Domenden, in his media presentation, recommended to Lim the rope frame cage technology as a replacement to the fishpen, which causes siltation in the river. “Ito po yung bagong modification ng materyales na ginagamit sa paggawa ng fish cage. Hindi katulad ng bakal at high density pvc pipe na kung na-expose sa malalaking alon ay napuputol at napipilipit,” said Domenden.
